UPDATE: The fire is spot size and believed to be human caused. Helicopters and air tankers have been called off, but forestry crews have taken over the fire fight. Fire information officer Kelsey Winter says while it isn’t contained, crews have the fire under control. It’s burning right off a parking lot near Kidston Road and can easily be accessed by ground crews.
