SASKATOON – A Saskatoon man has been sentenced for his role in a bar fight in 2013. Bobby Leibel was charged with attempted murder and assault with a weapon after a brawl at the Rock Bottom bar on Dec. 14, 2013.

Bear mace was sprayed after another man, Timothy Muldoon, pulled a sawed-off rifle from his pants and pointed it at a rapper on stage.

Leibel pleaded guilty last week to two counts of assault with a weapon. He will remain behind bars for another year.

Muldoon pleaded guilty to gun-related offences last year and was sentenced to four years in prison.
