GALLERY: Moose visits playground in southeast Calgary

CALGARY – Residents living in Mahogany were treated to an unusual sight on Wednesday.

An errant moose wandered through the southeast Calgary community, before taking a break beside a playground in Mahogany Square S.E.

The moose didn’t appear distressed or aggressive.

Fish and Wildlife officers were able to tranquilize the moose and relocate it.
