One man dead following two vehicle crash on Route 11

BOUCTOUCHE, N.B. – RCMP in southeastern New Brunswick say one man is dead following a two-vehicle crash early Tuesday near Bouctouche.

They say the initial investigation indicates a vehicle, travelling north on Highway 11, crossed the centre line and crashed into the side of a tractor trailer around 7 a.m.

Police say the 73-year-old male driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries.

The driver of the tractor trailer was not hurt.
