EDMONTON – A man is in serious condition after being shot in west Edmonton Wednesday morning.
Edmonton police were called to a convenience store shortly after 1 a.m. at 155 Street and Stony Plain Road where they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
However, it’s not clear where the shooting actually took place.
Police are looking through security footage to help in their investigation.
“I understand there’s video from the store and the investigators are going through that to see if there’s anything that’s going to assist the investigation,” explained Acting Insp. Randy Wickens.
Investigators haven’t revealed if any suspects have been identified.
