St. Albert stabbing leaves one man in hospital

EDMONTON – A man is in hospital after being stabbed in St. Albert early Wednesday morning.

RCMP believe a 28-year-old Edmonton man was stabbed in the Mission area of St. Albert before making his way across St. Albert Trail to a McDonalds restaurant. A customer called police after seeing the man collapse in the parking lot.

The victim was taken to hospital where he under went surgery and is now in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators don’t believe the attack was random.
