HALIFAX – A 39-year-old woman is expected to face charges after a stabbing in Halifax.
Just after 11:30 p.m. on Friday, police responded to a house on Caxton Close for a report of a stabbing.

They found a 51-year-old man suffering from knife wounds. He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The woman was arrested without incident.
Police said the stabbing was the result of an altercation between the pair and that the victim and the suspect are known to one another.
