PARADISE HILL, Sask. — A 26-year-old man from Edmonton has been arrested after a robbery at a financial institution in the small community of Paradise Hill, Sask.
RCMP say police at the Turtleford detachment were notified on Friday afternoon that an adult male had entered the financial institution and demanded an undisclosed quantity of cash.
He fled in a truck, which RCMP officers spotted southeast of Edam, Sask.
The driver then tried to evade police, driving at high rates of speed and swerving between lanes and through traffic.
Eventually, the suspect vehicle lost control and rolled about 20 kilometres west of Turtleford.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle and was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
