TORONTO — Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul is Vancouver-bound to star in the directorial debut of screenwriter Zack Whedon.

Come and Find Me is scheduled to shoot in the city from July 27 to Aug. 28.

Paul, 35, will star opposite British actress Annabelle Wallis, 30 in the drama about a man searching for his missing girlfriend after discovering she is not who he thought she was.

Whedon, whose writing credits include episodes of Deadwood, Southland and the Vancouver-shot Fringe, wrote the script for Come and Find Me.

Paul is best known for playing Jesse Pinkman on Breaking Bad, which ended its five-season run in 2013. He was in B.C. late last year to make the thriller The 9th Life of Louis Drax opposite Jamie Dornan and Canada’s Sarah Gadon.
