SUNRISE, Fla. – The Edmonton Oilers got their goaltender.

On a busy morning of trades at the NHL draft, the Oilers acquired Cam Talbot from the New York Rangers.

The Oilers sent the 57th, 79th and 184th picks to New York for Talbot and the 209th pick.

Talbot has just 57 games of NHL experience but at 27 could still blossom into a starter.

He has a year left on his contract and can be an unrestricted free agent next summer.

Along with Talbot, the Rangers traded Carl Hagelin to the Ducks as part of larger deal that also included Emerson Etem.
