RCMP issue warning after pharmacy robbery in Leduc

Leduc RCMP are investigating a robbery of a potentially fatal drug from a local pharmacy.

The theft happened at the the|Medicine shop on 50th Street in Leduc just before 6 Thursday evening.

By the time officers arrived at the scene, the suspect had already fled. RCMP say he came into the shop by himself, wearing a dark-colored toque, with most of his face hidden by an article of clothing. The suspect then allegedly either produced or mentioned a weapon and demanded that the pharmacist hand over an undisclosed amount of drugs – an order with which the pharmacist complied.
