MONTREAL – A prayer vigil to honour the victims of the Charleston shootings was held in Montreal on Sunday.
The celebration started at 5:00 p.m. at the former Rosedale Queen Mary United church at 6870 Terrebonne Avenue in NDG.

Reverend Daryl Gray, a personal friend of Pastor Pickney, one of the victims, co-officiated the ceremony with Father John Walsh.

Prayers were read for each of of the nine people killed during the attack.
People were invited to come together and pray for peace and justice.
