Owners of an Abbotsford produce company are devastated today after a fire destroyed their business, just one day after the outlet opened for the season.
Flames engulfed Wisbey Vegetables Thursday night. By the time crews arrived at 10 p.m. the fire had already extended throughout the building and it could not be saved.

The Fire Department says it is not releasing details on the cause of the fire and an insurance investigation is ongoing.
“There was heavy heat and fire showing from the western side of the barn and it was travelling at a high rate of speed throughout the structure,” said Craig Bird, Abbotsford assistant fire chief.
