WATCH: Calgary Police continue to investigate after a man drove himself to a Calgary urgent care centre after being shot with an arrow. As Tracy Nagai reports police believe this was a targeted attack.
CALGARY – A man in his mid-20s was rushed to Foothills Hospital in life-threatening condition Monday morning after apparently being shot with an arrow.
Though originally thought to be from a crossbow, police said they couldn’t rule out a bow and arrow in an afternoon press conference.

Calgary police were called after the injured man showed up at the Sheldon Chumir Health Centre just after 3 a.m. with an arrow in his neck.
The man told police it happened in a parkade at the 800 block of 4 Avenue S.W.

Police are investigating at that location.
They are also speaking with a friend of the victim who accompanied him to the Sheldon Chumir Centre.
The injured man’s condition has since been upgraded to stable.
Police believe it was a targeted incident, but a “specific motive” is yet to be determined.
