York Regional Police say Sina Parsi, of Kleinberg, Ont., was last seen Tuesday night leaving a soccer game (in the Teston Rd. and Highway 400) in a pickup truck.
Police found his pickup in a parking lot on Thursday, but there was no sign of Parsi. Parsi did not have his cellphone or wallet with him and had not contacted any friends or family since he had gone missing.
Toronto police say he was found dead Friday night (in the Jane St. and St. Clair Ave. W. area) during a search.
The York Regional Police homicide unit had joined the search for Parsi on Friday night.
Homicide investigators are asking anyone with information related to Parsi’s death to come forward.
