BROOKS – RCMP made a massive discovery after pulling over a speeding car on highway #1 near Brooks — three hockey bags filled with marijuana.
The bust happened at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday morning. 77 pounds of marijuana, and 1.5 pounds of hashish, totaling a street value of close to $500,000 was seized.

Two males from Ontario have been arrested after RCMP say they were attempting to bring the drugs from B.C. to Ontario.
Both suspects have been remanded into custody until their next court appearance, June 15.
