HALIFAX – Halifax police say a 45-year-old man faces sexual assault charges in a case involving a teenaged boy.
Police say in a release that a patrol officer noticed suspicious activity in a vehicle parked on Waterfront Drive in Bedford around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
Police allege a 15-year-old boy was assaulted.
The man was arrested at the scene.
Police say the accused and alleged victim do not know one another, but they had previously communicated online.
The man faces charges of sexual assault, sexual interference and unlawful confinement.
