CALGARY – A lavish ranch in southern Alberta has been listed for a record-breaking $42.5 Million US.
The 14,740 acre Bar-N Ghost Pine Ranch is located about 90 minutes south of Calgary, near Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump.
It’s a working cattle ranch with 800 cattle and 36 angus cross bulls, a trout pond, lake and six residential homes – including a 5,200 square foot grand ranch home.
Sotheby’s International Realty Canada says offers for the ranch will be accepted exclusively in US dollars. The price translates to roughly $54 million Canadian.
“This is the first time in over twenty years that Bar-N Ghost Pine Ranch has been available for purchase,” says listing agent Renata Reid. “It’s an incredibly rare opportunity to own a part of Alberta’s ranch history.”
The ranch is one of the largest privately-held pieces of land in Alberta, and its listing price sets a new record for residential land listings in Alberta on MLS.
