Woman run over by reversing vehicle dies: Saskatchewan RCMP

RCMP say a woman run over by a reversing vehicle on the weekend has died and the incident is under investigation in west-central Saskatchewan. File / Global News

LOON LAKE, Sask. – Saskatchewan RCMP say a 30-year-old woman died Saturday after she was run over by a reversing vehicle. St. Walburg EMS alerted RCMP of an unconscious woman not breathing at Island Lake First Nation at around 2:20 p.m.

Investigators learned the woman was a back seat passenger in the vehicle when she fell out and was run over by it.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

RCMP continue to investigate.
