TORONTO — Proving you’re never too old for social media, Betty White joined Instagram this week.
The 93-year-old TV icon (or someone working for her) debuted with a photo of her on the set of Hot In Cleveland with co-stars Valerie Bertinelli, Wendie Malick and Jane Leeves.
“For my first Instagram post I wanted to say how much I love these girls dearly,” White explained on her Facebook page, where she has 2.1 million likes.
“What a great time we had.”

In her first day on Instagram, White had accumulated 33,000 followers.
The former Golden Girls star has a long way to go to catch up to Justin Bieber, who has 29 million followers, and Kim Kardashian, who has 35 million.
White has been on Twitter for years and has an impressive 1.2 million followers.
