Crack cookhouse discovered inside Lethbridge apartment

LETHBRIDGE – A 24-year-old man is facing charges after police found a crack cookhouse inside a Lethbridge apartment last week.

Officers seized 229 grams of crack cocaine worth nearly $23,000 from inside the suite on Lakemount Boulevard South on Saturday, May 27th.

They also confiscated $3,065 in cash thought to be proceeds of crime.

Abdirahman Warsame, 24, was arrested inside the apartment at the time of the search.

He’s facing a number of charges, including:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking
  • Production of a controlled substance
  • Possession of proceeds of crime
  • Possession of a controlled substance
