UPDATE: All warnings and watches mentioned in this story have ended.
Environment Canada issued severe thunderstorm warnings and watches in western Saskatchewan Sunday. Some of the storms may be capable of producing large hail, heavy rain and strong wind gusts.
The federal agency says an approaching trough of low pressure will produce thunderstorms over southern areas of the province.
Thunderstorms are expected to develop near the Alberta border and slowly push eastwards throughout Sunday evening.
