MOOSE JAW, Sask. – Moose Jaw police officers are thanking the public for helping track down a bank robber.
The South Hill Conexus Credit Union in Moose Jaw was robbed Friday morning.
The Moose Jaw Police Service said a man entered the bank around 10:45 a.m. and produced a note saying that he had a weapon. He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Officers then took to social media, posting numerous pictures of the offender from surveillance cameras.
When tips started rolling in, officers were able to arrest a 22-year-old suspect from Moose Jaw. He now faces charges of robbery, wearing a disguise and breaching probation.
His name has not yet been released, but he will be appearing in court Monday morning.
This is the second time this month a man was arrested for robbing the South Hill Conexus Credit Union.
