TORONTO — Don’t expect to see Mariah Carey pop up during the final season of American Idol.

“Hell no! Absolutely not,” the pop superstar and former Idol judge said this week.

“That was the worst experience of my life.”

In an interview with the Kyle and Jackie O show in Australia, Carey opened up about her one-season stint at the judge’s table in 2013 beside Nicki Minaj.

“I’m not going to get into what it was, but let’s just say I don’t think they had any intentions for us to have a good experience doing that show,” Carey said.

“Pitting two females against each other wasn’t cool. It should have been about the contestants instead of about some nonexistent feud that turned into even more ridiculousness.”

Fox recently announced the 15th season of Idol, set to air next year, will be the show’s last. Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. will return as judges.

“I would never want to be involved with it again,” Carey insisted.

“It’s so boring and so fake, I’m sorry. When I say it’s fake, I mean, I have to make up things to say about everybody. Half the time, the performances are good, you’ll just be like, ‘It was good.'”

Carey dissed her Idol experience but not Idol fans.

“Everybody else can like it.”

In the same interview, Carey was asked about reports that her legs are insured for $1 billion.

“That is kind of ridiculous but I don’t know my insurance policies so it could be true,” she replied. “I really don’t know what to say. I would say no.”
