CALGARY – Police are hoping to catch the man responsible for a frightening break-and-enter in the city’s southeast over the weekend.
Officers were called to a home in the 400 block of Applewood Place S.E. around 2:20 a.m. on Sunday, May 24th after a man entered the home through a window.
The woman living in the home woke up when the man came into her bedroom and began riffling through a dresser.

The suspect threatened her with a knife and demanded the bracelet she was wearing. The woman gave the suspect her bracelet, and says he took her purse before leaving the home.
Investigators believe this was a random attack, and think the suspect may have been captured on other video surveillance between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. on Sunday morning.
He is described as 5’5” to 5’8” tall. He was wearing jeans, leather mid-calf style work boots and had the lower half of his face covered.
