SASKATOON – Two people have been charged in what Saskatoon police say was a “staged” armed robbery. On Sunday, a man entered the Homesense store at the Stonegate Shopping Centre and gave a note to a cashier demanding cash.
He had what appeared to be a handgun in his waistband. The man then fled with an undetermined amount of money.
Police say their investigation determined the robbery was staged.
