SASKATOON – Four people from Quebec are facing charges after a drug bust in Saskatoon. The four were arrested following an investigation by the integrated drug enforcement street team (SIDEST).

The suspects were nabbed after police pulled over a vehicle early Tuesday morning at 21st Street and Avenue M South. Officers had spotted people in a rental vehicle making numerous stops they say were consistent with drug transactions.

A search of the vehicle turned up 12.36 grams of packaged cocaine, 15.8 grams of marijuana and around $5,000 in cash.

Search warrants were then executed at two rooms at a hotel located in the 600-block of Spadina Crescent. Police seized approximately 39.7 grams of cocaine, packaging commonly used in the drug trade, prepaid credit cards and two credit card readers.
