Saskatoon police investigating Stonebridge bank robbery

SASKATOON – Saskatoon police are investigating an armed robbery of a bank Saturday in the Stonebridge neighbourhood. Officers were called to the 500-block of Wellman Crescent at around 9:50 a.m.

Police say a lone man entered the financial institution armed with a handgun and demanded money from staff. The suspect fled in a black pickup truck with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No shots were fired and no one was injured.

The suspect is described as possibly native and 30 years old. He was wearing beige pants, a black hoodie with a red lining and had sunglasses.
