Man wanted for groping female joggers in Sherwood Park

EDMONTON — Sherwood Park RCMP are searching for a man accused of groping three women who were out running Tuesday night.

The women told police a man ran past them, going the opposite direction on a path near Calico Drive and Colwill Boulevard between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. As he went by, he grabbed their butts then kept running.

None of the women were injured, said RCMP Const. Chantelle Kelly.

The women were all alone at the time. They said the man looked like another runner at first, until they saw his clothing, a plaid shirt or jacket, jeans and a camouflage baseball hat.

They described the man as fair-skinned, 20 to 25 years old, 5’7“ to 5’11”, about 160 lbs.,with brown shaggy hair and scruffy facial hair.

Kelly said it’s possible others may also have been groped, and asked any victims or witnesses to contact Strathcona County RCMP at 780-467-7741.
