Photos: Mosaic 2.0 now 41 per cent complete

REGINA – The City of Regina invited the media for a tour Wednesday to view the construction progress for Mosaic Stadium 2.0.

So far, construction of the new stadium is around 41 per cent complete with 270 workers on-site. By August there will be close to 350 workers.

The tour included the locations of the new Rider store and ticket offices plus the upper deck concourse.

The playing surface for the Riders will be 30 feet below ground level.

So far 320,000 hours have been put into the construction site with 2,700 tonnes of reinforcing steel used.

The new stadium is still scheduled to host its first CFL game in the summer of 2017.
