SASKATOON – There has been a big unveiling for the new and improved Children’s Discovery Museum in Saskatoon. Officials released the museum’s master plan on Wednesday, showing how the Mendel building will be re purposed.
The museum will include nine exhibit areas, a northern lights structure at the entrance and a subterranean area for children to explore mining and geology.
“When the museum designers do this kind of work, they look at what are the kids going to be learning here,” said Dave Hunchak, president of the Children’s Discovery Museum.
