WINNIPEG — Demolition crews started working Tuesday to tear down what’s left of a McDonald’s restaurant in East Kildonan heavily destroyed by fire last month.
On April 15th, fire fighters had their hands full, battling a blaze at the McDonald’s restaurant in the 900 block of Henderson Highway.
Flames were shooting through the roof of the building, sending heavy smoke into the air. Windy conditions and visibility issues had forced crews to shut down a stretch of Henderson Highway completely.
No one was injured in the blaze.
