Over a hundred Canadians submitted applications this season. The top six DJs from the east and west qualifiers, plus the defending 2014 national champion, C-Sik, went head-to-head performing a 15-minute live set for more than 1,200 fans.

Judges placed DJ Trapment, from Sudbury, Ont., in second place while Calgary’s C-Sik placed third.

Grant will represent Canada in Tokyo, Japan this September where he’ll compete against the top DJs from 22 countries around the globe.
