CALGARY – Fire crews were called to the scene of a fast-moving deck fire in the community of Chaparral on Tuesday.
When firefighters arrived at the two-storey home around 10:30 p.m. they found two residents who were able to make it out safely.

Crews moved quickly to extinguish the blaze, but say the home suffered damage to the deck and attic. In addition, some adjacent homes suffered minor damage to their siding.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
