WEST VANCOUVER – A 54-year-old man has been arrested after what police are calling a suspicious death in a West Vancouver home.
Police in West Vancouver say a charge of second-degree murder has now been laid against a man already accused of interfering with a dead body.

Fifty-four-year-old Li Zhao remains in custody pending his next court appearance on Monday.
Police were called to a house in the tony British Properties last week after receiving reports of a violent confrontation.
Zhao was taken into custody early Sunday with the help of the Vancouver Police Department, as part of an agreement to investigate suspicious deaths in West Vancouver.

They say forensic investigators have now finished their work at the residence.
Police have said Zhao and the deceased person, a 42-year-old man, knew each other.
