The man was in the store on March 29 looking at a gold chain worth about $2,500 and a diamond worth $5,500 when he fled with the items.
Halifax Regional Police have released photos of the man, who is described as between 30 and 40 years old with dark facial hair.
When the incident occurred, he was wearing a dark tuque, blue shirt, faded blue jeans and steel-toed boots. He drove away from the mall in a red, newer-model Toyota Corolla.
