Alberta Election 2015: NDP’s Shannon Phillips wins Lethbridge-West riding

Shannon Phillips has won the riding of Lethbridge-West for the NDP, beating incumbent Greg Weadick. Until today, the riding had voted PC since 1975.

The incumbent is Progressive Conservative MLA Greg Weadick who won his first term in 2008.  Weadick was the Minister of Advanced Education and Technology under the Stelmach government. He is seeking a third term in 2015.
