Both films are from DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Pictures.
Affleck was spotted on location in Toronto’s financial district wearing a dark suit and sporting grey in his temples — the same way he appears in the latest trailer for Batman v Superman.
Affleck’s arrival in Toronto came exactly a decade after he was in the city to begin filming Hollywoodland, in which he portrayed George Reeves, the actor who played Superman on TV in the 1950s.
This is the second time Affleck has been in Canada this month.
Suicide Squad (which is being filmed in Toronto with the code name Bravo 14) stars Will Smith, Jared Leto, Viola Davis, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman and many others. It follows a group of supervillains who take on missions from the U.S. government in exchange for reduced prison sentences.
