Alberta Election 2015: NDP’s Marlin Schimidt wins Edmonton-Gold Bar

The NDP candidate Marlin Schimidt won the seat against PC MLA David Dorward.

This central east Edmonton riding was considered a Liberal stronghold until 2012 when Dorward won the seat. The Liberals fell to third in the polls. Dorward was seeking a third term.
