Edmonton Eskimos give general manager Ed Hervey contract extension

EDMONTON – The Edmonton Eskimos have extended general manager Ed Hervey’s contract through the 2017 season.

The team has also added vice-president of football operations to Hervey’s title.

Hervey, who was appointed GM in 2012, led the team to a 12-6 record last season and an appearance in the West Division final.

Before joining the front office, Hervey played eight seasons as an Eskimos wide receiver.
