WINNIPEG – Prime Minister Stephen Harper is expected to make an announcement about manufacturing in Canada at a Winnipeg cabinet maker Thursday afternoon.
Harper is scheduled to speak at FC WoodWorks at 12:45 p.m. CT. The cabinetmaker is a locally owned an operated manufacturer that is still owned by its founder, Rick Mostert.

Harper rolled into Winnipeg Wednesday in time to watch the Jets lose their final playoff game to the Anaheim Ducks at the MTS Centre.
He will also speak at a Conservative Party of Canada event at the Victoria Inn at 5:45 p.m.
