Another immune-boosting tip is to eat a lot of raw garlic. Garlic is considered nature’s antibiotic.

If you do find yourself fighting off a cold, eating ginger root will give your immune system a quick boost by inducing a fever. Having a mild fever is not always a bad thing as it helps boost your immune system quickly and allows your body to sweat out the virus.
