TORONTO — Since it was the Queen’s birthday on Tuesday, Global News’ Mark Carcasole thought he’d see how many kids would recognize Queen Elizabeth II on the Canadian $20 bill.
Turns out, not a whole lot.
“Any guess who this person is on the $20 bill?” he asked one boy, who admitted he had no clue.
“I’m guessing old lady?” the boy said before shrugging his shoulders.

When it came to the Queen’s age, one girl figured she might be as old as 28 — which is quite the compliment considering she just turned 89.
