TORONTO — An explosive new trailer for the B.C.-shot fantasy film Tomorrowland was released Tuesday.
“You wanted to see Tomorrowland,” George Clooney says at the end of the trailer, the third to be put out by Disney. “Here it comes.”
It’s the same way the second trailer, released early last month, ended.
In Tomorrowland, Clooney plays an inventor who rescues a young woman (Britt Robertson) who shows up at his door with a pin that opens up an alternate reality.
The pair escape his house, which is under seige, in a bathtub.
“You ain’t seen nothing yet,” he says as they begin their journey.
The movie, directed by Brad Bird (The Incredibles) also stars Hugh Laurie, Tim McGraw, Keegan-Micheal Kay and Judy Greer.
Tomorrowland was filmed from August 2013 until January 2014 in Enderby, Vancouver and Surrey. Additional filming was done in California and Florida.
Canadian actors Lochlyn Munro and Michael Rowe are also in the cast.
The movie will hit theatres May 22.
