WINNIPEG – A Winnipeg man has died after he was found critically injured in a bus shelter on the west side of Main Street at Pioneer Avenue on Friday morning.
Myles Monias, 37, was taken to hospital in unstable condition after emergency services received a report about an injured man in the area. His condition quickly deteriorated and he later died, Winnipeg police said in a news release.
Monias was found suffering from a deadly beating in the heart of downtown Winnipeg, less than a block from the iconic Portage Avenue and Main Street intersection.
The Winnipeg police homicide unit is investigating. Anyone with information about Monias’s death is asked to call police at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-8477.
