Santa Tracker

Santa Tracker - image

Want to watch Santa’s every move as he travels around the world on Christmas Eve?  You’re in luck, not only is NORAD doing its annual Santa-Tracker this year, but tracking the man in red has gone high-tech.

There are several different ways to track Santa’s trip on Christmas Eve. On NORAD’s website, Santa’s every move will be tracked, and now you can get updates through Twitter and Facebook.

“NORAD tracks Santa, but only Santa knows his route, which means we cannot predict where and when he will arrive at your house,” NORAD said on its website.  “We do, however, know from history that it appears he arrives only when children are asleep!  In most countries, it seems Santa arrives between 9:00 PM and midnight on December 24th.”

NORAD also warns that “If children are still awake when Santa arrives, he moves on to other houses. He returns later but only when the children are asleep.”

Not only can you track Santa on the NORAD Santa homepage but you can also track his flight in Google Earth and follow Kris Kringle’s every move around the world in 3D.

Watch Santa’s journey last Christmas and see if Santa is going to take the same route as he did last year.
