Watch as dash cam video, posted on YouTube by TOPCOPGURU, captures an apparent road rage incident on eastbound McKnight Boulevard near the McCall Lake golf course last Friday morning.
You can see a black Ford Escape change lanes, pass a red vehicle on the right, and then cut back in front of the car.
At that point the car suddenly veers left, going onto the shoulder.
A short distance later, the vehicles reach a red light.. and the driver of the car gets out of his vehicle, and walks over, presumably to speak to the driver in the Ford SUV.
He returns briefly, before getting out and speaking to the driver of the vehicle with the dash cam.
The author of the video, Michael Hamel, stated he did not see anything earlier on the road that might have provoked the incident.
He told Global News he shared the YouTube link to the dash cam video with the young driver of the red car, who then forwarded it to Calgary police.
Hamel said police contacted him the next day and asked him for more details about the incident.
Hamel said he only got a partial plate.
