TORONTO – While he’s known for his accuracy shooting on net, soccer superstar David Beckham clearly has no problem taking a few shots at himself, too.
Prior to his appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden Monday night, Beckham appeared alongside Corden in a faux-commercial for the fictional “D&J Briefs”.
The clip shows a brooding Beckham posing with host (and fellow Brit) Corden in a matching pair of briefs.
The ad is a spoof of Beckham’s famous H&M underwear advertisements, and feature a similar style.
This time, however, the somewhat less-than-athletic Corden joins Beckham in his skivvies.
“D&J Briefs,” Corden intones in the ad, “Underwear for the man with a great body…or David Beckham.”
Corden made his debut on The Late Late Show earlier this month.
