Vancouver police are searching for a suspect after a man was stabbed in a Yaletown restaurant.

The 35-year-old was seriously injured in the attack at Kibo Restaurant and Lounge near Hamilton and Drake Street.

It happened at the Japanese restaurant around 9 p.m. last night.

The victim was rushed to hospital, where he remains in stable condition.

Officers are looking for a man who fled the restaurant after the incident.

They’re also interviewing witnesses and asking anyone with additional information to come forward.
