WINNIPEG — 5, 000 Manitoba Hydro customers are without power after a pole fire on Semple Avenue Monday afternoon.
The customers in West and East Kildonan are expected to be without power until at least 10 p.m. Monday night, Manitoba Hydro tells Global News.
Crews are on scene working to restore power.

Manitoba Hydro said in a tweet Monday evening that pole fires are common when the weather is damp but not rainy.
